Rachel Arseneau-Ferguson

Founder and President

A born leader, Rachel founded Transmed in 1996 while pursuing a career at the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick. Rising through the ranks, she held several positions from 1981 to 2012, culminating with her appointment as Principal of CCNB-Campbellton, a position she held for eight years. Rachel’s extensive experience in post-secondary education and economic development serves her well as she grows her company, valuing her impressive network of contacts as she focuses on Transmed’s communications and public relations spheres. Rachel continues to be active in regional economic development, and is serving on a number of regional, provincial and national boards of directors from diverse organizational sectors. Driven, Rachel has a keen passion for life, always recognizing the potential of the people she encounters.

Nathalie Levesque

Chief Executive Officer

Focused on improving processes and leaving nothing to chance.
Original member of the Transmed team when it was founded in 1996, Nathalie became a partner in 2005 and is now the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Her extensive experience starting with her studies in accounting and medical transcription, combined with her previous tenure as the Regional Health Authority’sHead of Medical Records, provides her the solid expertise needed to successfully manage a medical transcription business. In 2007, Nathalie established the company’s translation unit, which continues to expand. Passionate, organized and profoundly human while focused on results, Nathalie’s vision and analytical mind are second to none. Her impressive skill-set allows her to seek and find A-list partners dedicated to meeting the needs of current and prospective customers, which is the basis for successfully implementing Transmed’s strategic plan and ensuring continued growth in a constantly changing environment.

François Martin

Director of Translation Services

Guiding principle: Each hurdle is an opportunity to take on a new challenge.
Focused on delivering quality and ensuring client satisfaction.
François joined the Transmed team in 2012 as an assistant coordinator, proofreader and translator. He has subsequently taken on a variety of roles within the company, gaining experience in all aspects of its operations. In 2017, he was appointed Director of Translation Services. With a bachelor's degree in translation, François has the required essential knowledge to keep the translation department running smoothly and to master the various issues associated with the sector. In his dealings with clients, he uses his skills to identify their needs and deliver a top-quality product that meets not only their expectations, but also the language sector's rigorous standards.

François is committed to listening to his clients and his team. Deeply involved and concerned about the quality of the products he delivers, he is a valuable and multi-faceted member of the team. In that regard, he contributes to boosting the stature and prestige of Transmed's translation services in New Brunswick and across Canada.
